Office Hours
The Front Desk, which is located next to the Guest Pantry, is closed from 9 pm to 7 am; the Night Manager is available, if necessary, by dialing (508) 901-1280 from your cell phone.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time is 3 pm and check-out is 11 am. If your travel schedule calls for you to arrive earlier or leave later, you may store your luggage under the stairway in the Foyer while you enjoy Nantucket. Accounts are settled on arrival; please return your key to the Office on departure, so we can say goodbye and wish you safe travels.
Entrances
There are three entrance doors to the Brass Lantern Inn – the front door of the Main Inn, the kitchen entrance off the car park and the Garden Wing entrance off the Patio. All of these entrance doors are unlocked day and night.
Smoke-Free
The Brass Lantern Inn is a completely smoke-free bed and breakfast. Please refrain from smoking in any place inside the building or outside in the Garden or on the Patio.

The Nantucket Cottage Hospital, located 1.2 miles from the Brass Lantern Inn is a full-service hospital with Emergency services and MedFlight to Boston. The Nantucket Pharmacy on Main Street, just up the block from the corner of Main and Federal, has a wide range of over-the-counter remedies, cosmetics and toiletries – and a traditional soda fountain for your enjoyment.

Televisions/Cable
All rooms have expanded cable television, and TVs may be operated using the Comcast remote. There is a Comcast Channel Guide in your room.

Our Powder Room is located just off the Pantry, between the Dining Room and the Kitchen.
Parking
We have limited parking spots at the inn for vehicles, and spaces are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to limited parking at the inn and around town, we encourage guests to travel without their vehicles. We are within walking distance to town and the ferries. Taxis, car rentals and an island shuttle are available for exploring the island. Have a bike? You can secure your bike to the bike rack in our car park area.

Beach Towels
Going to the beach? Beach towels are available on request. Please return them to us when you return to the inn.
Beach Chairs
Beach chairs are available on request to be returned at the end of the day.
