There is more fun in Nantucket during the Halloween weekend if you are coming without a four-legged friend. Try the Original Nantucket Ghost Walk for some ‘spooktacular’ fun. Stroll down the streets in the historic district after dark. The 80 minute walk is available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights at 8:30pm starting Centre and Main Streets. This ghost tour will introduce you to the town’s five most haunted locations. Cost is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and teens.
The climax of the Halloween celebration is the Halloween Day Parade down Main Street. On Tuesday, October 31 dress in your best costume and stroll down Main Street where all the shops will have their doors open and their treat jars waiting for your tricks. Beginning at 4:30pm and continuing until 8:00pm, the street will be closed to motor vehicles and it will be filled with families of ghouls, ghosts, super heroes, princesses, and monsters wandering through downtown.
