As noted in Nantucket’s Mahon about Town newsletter, other recent accolades for Nantucket include “Best Island in the World” (National Geographic), “One of America’s Most Beautiful Main Streets” (Travel & Leisure); “Third Best Beach Destination in America” (The Travel Channel); “#8 of America’s Top Ten Islands” (Conde Nast Traveler); and “#29 of Top 50 Yachting Towns” (Yachting Magazine).

According to PJ Martin Smith, Executive Director of our Chamber of Commerce, “There are many reasons why Nantucket is chosen again and again by the world’s foremost and most discriminating travel publications and travel sites. One visit will ensure a lifelong love for this idyllic place where time seems to stand still and its myriad treasures both enchant and illuminate.”

This sentiment is one that we can all agree with!
